When the steam trap does not work, free semi ball float settles over the transmitting tube. When the steam trap is in the drainage state, the steam will enter into the valve body through filter screen and transmitting tube, When the steam volume increases to a certain degree, the semi ball will float up and move toward and block the nozzle, which prevent tho leakage of steam.
Structure and working principle
When the steam trap does not work, free semi ball float settles over the transmitting tube. When the steam trap is in the drainage state, the steam will enter into the valve body through filter screen and transmitting tube, When the steam volume increases to a certain degree, the semi ball will float up and move toward and block the nozzle, which prevent tho leakage of steam. When a large amount of condensation water enters into the body valve, the steam volume in semi ball float will reduce and rt will fall under the action of gravity. The semi ball float will be separated from the nozzle and then a working circle S completed. The steam trap works in cycles to automatically drain water and block the air.
Main application
Free Semi ball float steam trap is applied In steam healing supply equipment and steam pipelines to automatically drain condensation water and prevent the leakage of steam and also exhaust the air. It can be widely applied in the field of chemical industry, petroleum refining, electric power, light textile, paper making etc. it is ©specially applicable for steam equipments which require for low pressure, large capacity and thermal stability and no saving of condensation water.
